oh tech blogs...

...you sure know how to tug at my heart strings.

Today is 11.11.10...which means that it's been exactly 48 hours since I could upgrade my phone. I have yet to order anything and it hurts.

Last year, on 11.6.09 at midnight on the DOT I ordered the new Droid, Verizon's first android device. I received my sales confirmation at 1:22am. Phone came in on Monday. I returned it two weeks later [no judging, android is dope but I hated the actual form factor of the phone].

I lived in blissful ignorance with my Tour for the next year.

And now here we are and I am, once again, about to throw my BB at a wall. The difference between this year and last though is that now there are a plethora of android options to choose from. An absolute plethora.

The problem? This little curly haired girl likes technology. A lot. Reading forums and tech blogs like it's my job [IS there a job that entails this? Because if so, I am your girl!] I have been stalking forums for like 2 weeks now.

So while I am totally aware of the awesomeness that is the X and Incredible...I am, unfortunately, also aware of the supposed upcoming awesomeness. Namely the Incredible HD/Incredible 2 ie Verizon's evo and the next big hotness to hit the big red [that's Verizon btw].

And what makes this an even bigger problem is that said device is a f*cking unicorn at the moment. Lots of talk, no proof, and whisperings of a pre-order SOON. Which makes me happy but I don't get it. Actually, I'm dying to get it but I don't get how it's going to go on some mysterious pre-order. Like really soon.

No comprendo.

But I want a new phone. Like 2 days ago. Shit if I had ordered 2 days ago I would have it by now.

:: puts away trigger finger and says a little prayer ::

Dear tech gods...please don't let me down. Please give me something awesome to buy and SOON. Like by the end of the year at the ABSOLUTE LATEST [but I really mean by tomorrow hint hint]. If you don't, I'll just buy the Incredible and pretend not to notice all of the new LTE phones you are bound to drop on us next year [which really isn't THAT huge a deal because I switch phones every year]. Thank you.
