toes are sensitive ...

this morning on my way to work i got to see the biggest argument i've ever seen on a train. long story short, a man stepped on a ladies toe.

yes that's it ... a man accidentally stepped on the toe of a lady on the express train at 9 something in the morning ie rush hour.

from what i understood, the argument came out of the fact that after he said sorry, he kept looking at her weird. that escalated into a full on yelling war, with curses being thrown out left and right. at one point the [white] lady sittin in front of me yells "ok can we stop cursing now, there are young children on the train!!" i wanted to tell her that those kids probably heard WORSE at home and/or school but i stayed shut. the argument continued. he screamed F you ... she screamed it back. he told her to shut up and got "don't you tell me to shut up!" thrown back.

the train jerked and the girl's foot standing next to me hit mine. i told her not to step on my toe. she cracked up and was like seriously, it's all about the toes!!!

they kept screaming at each other and suddenly, like 5 other people on the train started screaming at them too. the best was this gentleman who i couldn't see saying: "OMG SHUT UP!!! we all heard you he stepped on your toe, he already said sorry!!! next time you should take your f*cking limo then", which resulted in everyone in the cart cracking up.

the lady was getting off on 42nd but just before getting to the station, she yelled at dude once more and once more, got told to shut up. this resulted in her walking straight up to the man and tellin him to make her shut up...

now, i am not racist but it's moments like these that make me shake my head and understand why people just classify minorities as ghetto. she was west indian [accent and all]. he was a tall, black gentleman [and by tall i mean at least 6'2]. although he yelled at her more than once, he didn't walk over to her, nothing. she on the other hand brings all the hood out and goes right up to his big ass face. are you serious ma'am? there are crazy people out there who would have no problem laying you out for being an idiot. the girl next to the lady put her arm out to hold her back, which was mighty brave of her if you ask me. i just watched and won't lie, i was half wishing he would crack her once in the jaw and shut her up but he didn't.

30 blocks later she finally got off the train just fine, stepped on toe and all.
